What students and teachers say

Real feedback from students and educators using StudyPulse to improve their results.

I wish this existed when I did VCE. I wasted so much time figuring out mistakes, but StudyPulse does it instantly. The mark breakdowns are exactly what you need to improve. Would've saved me hours of stress.

Abby Student, Mount Scopus

Honestly the best study tool I've used for VCE, the AI marking is insanely helpful and the mark breakdowns make it easy to see where I can improve. Definitely recommend for anyone trying to up their study scores!

Elliott Student, Carey Grammar

Extremely impressed with the AI feedback, the mark breakdowns are so helpful. I actually don't know how you made it so effective and there is nothing to improve in my books. All the UI is amazing.

Henry Student, Camberwell High School

I haven't seen anything like this before. The feedback is detailed, and it actually tells me what to fix. This is going to be so helpful for my 3/4 subjects this year.

Daniel Student, Trinity Grammar

StudyPulse has completely changed how I prepare for SACs. Instead of guessing what the examiner wants, I get specific feedback on every answer. My marks have gone up in every subject since I started using it.

Sarah Student, Year 12

The essay marker is a game changer for English. Students submit their analytical essays and get detailed feedback on structure, evidence use, and metalanguage in seconds. It's like having an extra teacher in the room.

Ms. Richardson Teacher, VCE English

My students used to wait days for me to return practice exams. Now they get instant feedback on every question through StudyPulse. I can see from the dashboard exactly who needs help, and my marking load has dropped significantly.

Mr. Chen Teacher, VCE Business Management

StudyPulse supports CAIE for IGCSE, O Level, AS Level, A Level. Questions and mark schemes are specific to each level so you're always practising the right material for your exams.
Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) offers a progression of qualifications: Cambridge IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) for ages 14–16, followed by Cambridge AS Level (one year) and Cambridge A Level (two years) for ages 16–19. Over 10,000 schools in more than 160 countries offer these qualifications. Students typically take 5–14 IGCSE subjects and then 3–4 A Level subjects.
Cambridge IGCSE subjects are primarily graded on an 8-point scale from A* (highest) to G (lowest pass), with U (Unclassified) for results below the minimum G standard. Some regions also offer a 9–1 numeric scale, where 9 is the highest. In approximate equivalence: 9 is above A*, 8 maps to A*, 7 to A, 6–4 to B–C, and 3–1 to D–G. Schools choose which grading scale to use based on their region.
Cambridge A Levels are graded A* (highest) through E (lowest pass), with U for Unclassified. The A* grade is only available at the full A Level – not at AS Level. AS Level results use lowercase letters (a through e) with no a* option. Grade boundaries vary by subject and exam session; Cambridge publishes threshold tables after each session showing the minimum raw marks needed for each grade.
Yes. Cambridge qualifications are recognized by universities in over 90 countries, with more than 2,200 institutions formally accepting them. Over 500 US universities accept Cambridge A Levels, including all Ivy League institutions. In the UK, Cambridge A Levels are accepted by every university including Oxford and Cambridge. They are also widely recognized across Europe (via the Lisbon Recognition Convention), Canada, Australia, the Middle East, and Asia.
Both are secondary-level qualifications offered by Cambridge, but IGCSE is the newer and more widely available option with a broader range of subjects (over 70). O Level uses a narrower grading scale (A*–E rather than A*–G) and is offered in a more limited set of countries, primarily in South and Southeast Asia. Most universities treat IGCSE and O Level as equivalent for admission purposes.
For IGCSE, most students take 7–9 subjects, though the range is 5–14. Five is typically the minimum for university consideration. For A Levels, most students study 3–4 subjects. University offers in the UK are usually based on 3 A Levels. Competitive programmes (e.g., medicine, law) may expect specific subject combinations, so check individual university requirements early.
