What students and teachers say
Real feedback from students and educators using StudyPulse to improve their results.
I wish this existed when I did VCE. I wasted so much time figuring out mistakes, but StudyPulse does it instantly. The mark breakdowns are exactly what you need to improve. Would've saved me hours of stress.
AbbyStudent, Mount Scopus
Honestly the best study tool I've used for VCE, the AI marking is insanely helpful and the mark breakdowns make it easy to see where I can improve. Definitely recommend for anyone trying to up their study scores!
ElliottStudent, Carey Grammar
Extremely impressed with the AI feedback, the mark breakdowns are so helpful. I actually don't know how you made it so effective and there is nothing to improve in my books. All the UI is amazing.
HenryStudent, Camberwell High School
I haven't seen anything like this before. The feedback is detailed, and it actually tells me what to fix. This is going to be so helpful for my 3/4 subjects this year.
DanielStudent, Trinity Grammar
StudyPulse has completely changed how I prepare for SACs. Instead of guessing what the examiner wants, I get specific feedback on every answer. My marks have gone up in every subject since I started using it.
SarahStudent, Year 12
The essay marker is a game changer for English. Students submit their analytical essays and get detailed feedback on structure, evidence use, and metalanguage in seconds. It's like having an extra teacher in the room.

StudyPulse supports HSC BD for Class 11, Class 12. Questions and mark schemes are specific to each level so you're always practising the right material for your exams.
The HSC uses a 5-point GPA scale. Letter grades and grade points are: A+ (80–100 marks, 5.0), A (70–79, 4.0), A– (60–69, 3.5), B (50–59, 3.0), C (40–49, 2.0), D (33–39, 1.0), and F (below 33, 0.0). The minimum passing mark in each subject is 33%. Your overall GPA is the average of grade points across all compulsory subjects, with the optional 4th subject receiving a 2-point deduction before being factored in.
Failing any compulsory subject normally results in an overall GPA of 0.00, regardless of your performance in other subjects. However, a condonation rule allows one F grade to be excused if your overall GPA – calculated by replacing the failed subject’s grade point with the 4th subject’s adjusted grade point – reaches at least 2.0. You can also re-sit failed subjects in subsequent exam sessions.
Most public universities hold their own admission tests rather than relying solely on HSC GPA. These are grouped into clusters – for example, the GST (General, Science & Technology) cluster covers many public universities with a unified MCQ test of 100 marks in 60 minutes, with 0.25 negative marking per wrong answer. Dhaka University and BUET conduct separate admission exams with their own eligibility thresholds and test formats.
Requirements vary by university and group. For the GST cluster: Science group students need a combined SSC + HSC GPA of at least 8.00 with a minimum 3.50 in each exam; Commerce requires 6.50 total with at least 3.00 in each; Humanities requires 6.00 total with at least 3.00 in each. BUET demands GPA 5.0 in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics individually at HSC level. Dhaka University requires a minimum GPA of 3.00 in both SSC and HSC.
The HSC examination is administered by 11 education boards across Bangladesh (Dhaka, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Jessore, Comilla, Sylhet, Dinajpur, Barishal, Mymensingh, plus the Madrasah and Technical boards). Students take written exams in all subjects over several weeks, typically in April. Each subject paper is usually 3 hours. Results are published in July–August, after which the university admission cycle begins.
Yes, though most international universities require credential evaluation. The HSC is recognized for undergraduate admission in countries like India, Malaysia, and several Middle Eastern nations. For universities in the UK, US, Canada, or Australia, you typically need an equivalency assessment from services like WES or UK ENIC. Some universities may also require standardized tests such as SAT, IELTS, or TOEFL alongside your HSC results.
